It's an engagement miracle!!

We interrupt the previously scheduled programming to bring you something completely off topic. NEW ENGAGEMENT PICTURES!!! You see, we took these a month before the wedding and were surprised to have been given only 7 pictures.

After 6 months and a few phone calls 178 pictures arrived this weekend!! Without further ado, may we present our favorites:

We had our little photo shoot in Cape May

We started off hopping a fence and posing in front of someone's house. What can we say? They had a cute front porch!

Next, we wandered down the residential streets of Cape May looking for someone else with a nice property...

We stumbled upon a beautiful house with an even nicer shed and garden where the next two pictures were taken...

We took quite a few running-at-the-camera pictures. Most weren't pretty...

Then we ventured toward the beach and took this pic...

Soon followed by the suggestion of climbing onto Bill's shoulders for a few of these:

After climbing back down we wandered out to the lifeguard stand for this one:

Next, we were starving so we headed up to our favorite restaurant in Cape May, The Island Grill, where there was quite a wait.  Our photographer thought it might be interesting for us to lay on the front "lawn" of the restaurant. Only the "lawn" was actually turf. We felt pretty ridiculous laying on the ground with the diners seated at the window tables gawking at us below, but we got one of my favorite pics of the bunch from this...

After dinner we wandered over to the downtown shopping area of Cape May. It was fun having people wondering who we were and why we had a photographer following us around...

Before we left for the day, we headed down to Sunset Beach to grab the last few shots of the day...

I'm so excited that we have all of these fantastic new pictures! Now we just have to decide which ones to print and where to hang them in the new house!!
